The Center is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Willacy County Hospital District and the Commissioners Courts of Cameron and Hidalgo Counties, respectively. It is the purpose of the Board to provide governance to the Chief Executive Officer on decisions that affect the delivery of mental health, mental retardation and substance abuse services throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
